Geoffrey the Giraffe
"It's a Zoo up there"
JULY 2018 BRISTOL
Giraffe Facts:
. Giraffes have long necks to see over crowds.
. In the mid 80's, it was fashionable for giraffes to have short necks. This is when horses came from.
.Giraffes tongues are famously long. They can often be seen holding spray paint cans.
If you cut a giraffes neck off, you can count the rings to tell it's age.
.Giraffes hate Llamas. Giraffes had long necks first. Llamas are bastards.
Without these sponsors and helpers Geoffrey would still be a piece of clay in my workshop. A huge thank you goes out AFC London and BMEIA for the transport of almost 300kg of artwork and way more. Henkel and Cimsec fore sponsoring the tile ahesive. The builders who helped install the head and gave Geoffrey his name. Peter and Nadine for assisting in the workshop over the last 4 months. Walter for helping out with the welding. Sam for assisting with the humor in the Zookeeper sign. Stephanie and Claudia from AFC London and Raphaela from Henkel for the countless hours of work and effort. And finally Upfest and Tabaccofactory for giving me the wall and permission to do a life size 5m tall giraffe in Bristol.
Without these people above this project would not have happened, if you meet any of them shake their hand or give them a hug they deserve it.
