The infinity of Kare Kare's black sand beach, the ruff currant and its raw black stone cliffs, inspired me to work on this tile. Nowhere else would this tile made after M.C. Eschers impossible infinitive stars fit like there, in bedded in the raw surface of the black stones in the middle of the universe.
